Post 8: English Language Challenges.

Hi!  Lately, I think it’s very important to have a good command of English, as it opens opportunities in employment and in all fields. In addition, it allows you to know much more, since most of the important books are in the English language. Honestly, I find it incredible that the university incorporates the subject of English, since it’s very important to have a good command of this language. However, I believe that if this course had been face-to-face it would have been more beneficial for the students. In relation to the course program, I thought it was very good to use blogs to practice English, since it helps to improve and reinforce this language. However, I think that being the whole online course, it was more difficult to put English into practice. Post 7 : Changes to my study program

 Hi everyone!  I’m currently studying public administration. My career is directly linked to the State, as you work in public policies that influence the lives of Chileans, creating solutions for public problems and promoting the common good. In my personal experience as a university student, I would have liked to see the implementation of real internships in public services in the first years of the career plan to show the importance of the career in the State.  Also, I would have liked to see mandatory courses that encourage critical thinking about information, because misinformation is a problem that affects us all. Therefore, this type of misinformation can be reflected in decision making, causing citizens to believe such information, which is very dangerous because it affects people’s lifestyles. Post 6: Time travel to the future

Hi everyone! I see the future of the planet that going to have many problems in the economy, environment, politics, and culture. Therefore, I’m not motivated to travel to the future. However, I’m not closed to the idea that in the future the planet will be better, because the future is very very difficult to predict. In any case, I would like to be able to travel 5 or 10 years into the future. Therefore, in the future I would like to travel all over the planet earth and analyze how it’s and what it’s problems are. In fact, my purpose of this travel is to be able to discern that, whether we should change the present or not to prevent the future planet earth from having many problems, for examples, natural disasters. Post 5 : My future job

Hi everyone!  I would like to work in the field I am studying: Public Administration.  Life takes many turns, so I would not be surprised to end up doing something totally different. I imagine myself in attending meetings, working in an office with my own desk, is something that doesn't bother me. But I would like to interact in the field, knowing the realities of people and understanding their life, that’s we call "burocrata de calle" here. I would like to travel, but I don't know if it’s possible in for this kind of job, it would depend a lot on the position I will have. However, I am not a fan of spending lots of tax's money traveling, because it can always be misused for personal purposes. Post 4 : Hobbies

Hi everyone, Before quarantine, my hobby was books. Don't get me wrong, I still love it and enjoy immersing myself in new worlds. But I used to read virtual books because I didn't have enough money to buy all the ones I would like to read, so I read them in PDF. But everything has changed now, because I want to be as far away from the computer as possible when I have free time, and read as little as possible because compulsory reading saturates me. I already read all my pending physical books that I had in my personal library. And in June, I found my new hobby, KOREAN DRAMAS.  I like dramas because they are way too romantic. I was not a fan of the Asian world. Everything changed when I saw a show called The King: The Eternal Monarch on Netflix and since then I have never left to watch them. I didn't like to watch series, because it was difficult for me to keep my attention on them, but dramas last 1 hour and have 12 to 16 chapters, so I see them in one or two days (...

Climate Change is an alteration of the normal climate of the planet.  Today this can be evidenced to a large extent, due to the human's activity to the excessive use of natural resources for daily consumption in homes, transportation, and factories. Consequently, Climate Change has caused several phenomena, such as droughts, storms, tornadoes, heat waves, among others, which are increasingly intense, threatening life on the planet, so it is a very important to control Climate Change. Post 2 : The best concert you've been to

Hi, It`s difficult for me to choose the best because I have already had the opportunity to attend several good ones, but the concert that excited me the most, since I had waited a long time for a live show, was Justin Bieber's. The concert was carried out at the National Stadium on March 23, 2017. The place was magnificent, organized and decorated based on Justin's style. There was a lot of feeling in the atmosphere, where people singing and screamed. During the concert, the production team with Justin, they made all out to put together an excellent stage production. I was impressed away by the choreography and Justin's voice. I really enjoyed the concert because all the songs I liked were sung. I was in a comfortable place and considerably close to Justin. It was everything I expected about a concert. Also, I felt comfortable and safe in the atmosphere of the concert, since the people who attended were all my age, and we share a beautiful moment.
